The Story
Why Glitch Technology exists
Glitch Technology started because we saw too many small businesses struggling with the same IT problems: constant firefighting, unpredictable costs, and technology that felt like a burden instead of a tool. The businesses dealing with these problems weren’t failing at their work. They just didn’t have an IT partner who was actually managing their environment instead of waiting for something to break.
Before starting Glitch, Grant Joseph spent nine years in in-house IT, learning firsthand what it looks like when technology is managed well and what it costs when it isn’t. That experience shaped everything about how Glitch operates, including proactive monitoring, documented environments, planned hardware replacements, and a flat-rate model that removes the financial unpredictability that makes IT so frustrating for small business owners.
The connection to this community runs deep. Grant grew up in Jacksonville, got his start doing IT support for the same local school district he attended, and built Glitch Technology to serve the businesses and organizations that make Morgan County and Central Illinois run. This isn’t a remote help desk. It’s local IT ownership from someone who has a stake in the community he works in.
